Apple Crisp

Ingredients

Serves: 2

  • 3 medium apples sliced
  • 2 tsp cinnamon
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 1/2 cup almond flour
  • 1/2 cup rolled oats
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 2 tbsp grass fed butter
  • 1/4 cup coconut sugar

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.
  2. In a medium bowl, combine the apples, 1 teaspoon cinnamon, and 2 tablespoons honey.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk together the almond flour, oats, salt, 1 tsp cinnamon, coconut sugar, and butter.
  4. Arrange the apples into a 9-inch pie dish or baking dish. Cover with the crumble topping.
  5. Bake for 30, or until the top is golden brown. Remove from the oven and cool for 5 to 10 minutes.
  6. Apple crisp is best served immediately, when it’s warm. Enjoy!
