#1 Sweetener That’s Worse Than Sugar

pay for homeworkhelpWorse Than SugarThere are many options when it comes to sweeteners when you’re at a restaurant or at the grocery store. We’re exposed to a specific type of sweetener everywhere we go, and it’s a popular sweetener because it has zero calories.

Have you guessed which type of sweetener i’m referring to yet?

One of the worst sweeteners you can choose is artificial sweeteners. They’re at restaurants in blue, yellow, and pink packets, in coffee creamers, on the shelves of the grocery store, and they’re in our food and drink supply.

Artificial sweeteners are bad for your health because they are chemicals that can lead to many health derailing conditions including cancer, weight gain, and cravings.

You’ll also experience head aches, fatigue, joint pain, memory loss, and problems sleeping. Some common names to look out for on ingredients labels are aspartame, sucralose, saccharin, and acesulfame potassium.

Eating anything with a sweet taste can stimulate your appetite and result in you eating more, causing your cravings to increase, and weight gain. The most natural sweeteners that I recommend clients to use are honey, coconut palm sugar, stevia, maple syrup, and sometimes a raw organic cane sugar.

These sweeteners still have their vitamins and minerals intact, so they are much healthier and more natural than any other type of sweetener you’ll ever find.

If you choose a healthy sweetener it’s also important not to over consume it. Try to control the amount of the sweetener you’re using and try to use the least amount possible, while still satisfying your desire for a sweet taste.

A half a tsp is a good starting point if you want to sweeten your coffee or tea in the morning. What type of sweeteners are you using? Is there a specific kind you like to use in your coffee or tea? Let us know in the comments below… ')}
