However, I wanted to give you a heads up on a few pitfalls you’ll run into following your resolution. A vast majority of people make these common mistakes. Don’t make these mistakes below…

I share these 4 tips with my clients all the time. These tips will help you accelerate your results.

Letting Things Slide

In moderation letting things slide is perfectly fine. However, for most people it happens way too often. One day at work a colleague may have a delicious slice of cake waiting for you… Can you really avoid eating it?

Before you eat it, the thought… “I can let it slide this one time” runs by your mind… Then the cake is eaten, and the damage is done…

Then the next day you see another snack that’s NOT the healthiest for you. maybe you eat that snack too. Unfortunately this happens too often. This is a major reason for weight loss failure.

It’s simply because of your body’s hormones. If you’re used to eating unhealthy foods it can be tricky to stop.

Reading How To’s

Another common problem with weight loss failure is reading how to’s online.

This can be a problem because following multiple plans is a recipe for disaster. It’s important to stick to one proven system…

Focusing on too much can cause information overload and a lot of work for you to do. Do yourself a favor and stick to one proven plan that will get you results. Each website typically has contradicting information, so each source is telling you the opposite of the other and vice versa.

Are the writers of the blogs you’re reading really weight loss specialists?

Relying On Willpower

The next popular failing tactic that is used to lose weight is willpower. A lot of people think they just need to be mentally strong to be successful at losing weight, but it’s simply not the case…

I have tried and tested willpower and as a professional athlete, that likes to win at everything I do, willpower just didn’t work for getting rid of unhealthy foods or snacks.

You have to dig deep and make an actual change…

Lack Of A Proven System

If you think you can figure it out on your own, then you’ll have your work cut out for you. If losing weight was so easy then why would over 50% of people in the United States be overweight?

Losing weight is a process. Food companies can be manipulating and cause us to make poor eating decisions. Foods are made to be addictive so you keep coming back for more.

In the future more and more people will become overweight. Make sure you pick a proven plan to help you lose weight efficiently… Will you gain weight this year or lose it?
